She was created by David Hanson from Hong Kong company, Hanson Robotics. David Hanson is known for making human-like robots.
Sophia the humanoid has human emotions; she can be mad, angry and happy like a normal person.she is self-aware. This way, she can easily relate and connect with people around her.
She's also allowed to drive and apparently has more rights than the local women.
